Are Children Under 5 Free for Fast Track?

Children Under 5 Fast Track Free – Yes or No?

This is one of the most common questions.

The answer is simple:

If the child has their own passport, the fast track price is the same as adults.

There is no free fast track service for children under 5 when they are individual passport holders.

Since immigration clearance is processed per passport, the service fee applies per passport holder—regardless of age.

If a baby is included in a parent’s passport (rare in most modern travel cases), policies may differ, but generally today each child travels with their own passport and is charged accordingly.

Is Ho Chi Minh City Airport Fast Track Worth It?

The value depends on your travel situation.

When Normal Fast Track Is Enough

• You travel alone or light

• Immigration queues are your main concern

• You’re comfortable collecting baggage yourself

When VIP Fast Track Is Worth It

• You want full airport VIP assistance in Vietnam

• You carry heavy luggage

• You travel with children or elderly family members

• You want zero stress upon arrival

During peak hours at Tan Son Nhat Airport, immigration lines can take 30–90 minutes. Fast track can reduce this waiting time significantly.

For many travelers, especially after long international flights, the convenience justifies the cost.
